Once Again.........Screwed By Uncle Sam !!

Didn't have to go into the base until noon today. As a result, there was of course nowhere to park. They have something like 10000 employees and 4000 parking spaces. They ticket you if you park at the exchange, ticket you if you park at the commisary. WTH is a person supposed to do?? The absolutely only place to go today was an empty unused gravel lot out in no-mans land. What do you imagine happened to the few of us who had no other choice?

A $55 PARKING TICKET !!!! It wasn't even marked and we weren't in the way of anything. Thanks a lot Uncle Sam -- great for morale.

Man what base do you work on? Our Security Forces can write parking and moving violations but there is no monetary penalty. You get points against your driving priveledges and can lose them if you get too many.

Somebody has to keep cops up and pay for there doughnuts, might as well be you.

Check his service some of those guys really get screwed. Know parking in Portland was not fun for them. The Navy/Marine area right next door had at least 10 times the parking area.
