Can Madeleine Korbel Albright be that stupid?

Is it possible that Madeleine Albright is really as dimwitted as she apparently want us to believe?

In the world famous (or infamous) interview, Moscow Bill said he left a comprehensive plan and the world's best expert to fight terrorism.

Condoleezza Rice said, No he didn't.

Mizz Albright said "What we left was a sense that it was important to fight terrorism."

Now, I'm not the brightest candle on the cake, but to me that statement is nothing short of amazing.

Disclaimer: I know this belongs in the Politics Forum, but I wanted somebody to see it first.[:D]

Clinton sure did assemble a crack foreign policy team, didn't he?

Anyone remember Sandy Berger stuffing classified documents in his socks and underwear?

As Whitney Houston said "crack is wack" [:D].
As bad a job as Berger the "Fruit of the Loom Boy" [:D] did I guess you can't blame him for trying to cover tracks -- But they still should have nailed him for it [:(!].
What a bunch of incompetant losers [V].

Yeah... we're supposed to believe ol' "Condie?"

The woman that said Saddam was in possession of WMDs at the time of the Iraq invasion and called Israeli planes killing children "birth pangs."

Albright has got her own problems, but compared to Rice she's a saint.

    Monkey,

I think the point is that,

"What we left was a sense that it was important to fight terrorism."

Is not a plan. It's at best an idea.

By the way, while I believe that Clinton did not do enough, I do believe that he was aware and he did try to get Bin Laden.

I think it's fair to say that Clinton tried to get Bin Ladin, but he didn't try hard enough. It's also fair to say that George Bush has tried much harder than Clinton to get Bin Ladin, but has obviously not tried hard enough.

It's also fair to say Billy Klintoon is a liar. A few hundred million people can testify to that fact.

    EMM, That's the plan?

I won't bother to argue that point.

Maybe they left a plan. Maybe they didn't. I really don't have a way of knowing and the Clark Memo isn't helpful on that point. Whether they did or not, the statement by Madeleine Korbel Albright is lame and only serves to confirm she was in over her head.

Can Albright be that stupid? Yes.

I've read the thread, but it really wasn't necessary in order to answer the question objectively.

So Condi says she's doing a good job, and you actually believe her??
You guys should watch more than just Fauxnews. You may get a better perspective. At least with Albright, we actually had allies.

    JamesRK,

That was part of the plan, not the entire plan.

But the statement by Condoleeza "Condie" Rice is lame and only serves to confirm she was and still is a liar.

No invasion of Iraq. Some 2,700 American servicemen and women still alive. And some $3 Billions not thrown away into the pockets of Bush's buddies. That's all.

I heard Albright and Janet Reno are quite the pair down at the boogie nights-two for one drinks-open pink panties bar.

But not proven or impeached as Klinton was.

We have Britan; they understand. Who the hell else counts? The "I surrender" frogs? The "we go home" Spain? Russia? The Chinese?

This is a world war; piss on the neutrals. They will soon reap the rewards of inaction and reasoning with whack-balls.

bpost 1958 - If this is a world war why are we in Iraq? What are all the
other countries in the world doing? Aren't the Brits pulling troops out
    of Iraq pretty soon?

Has anyone ever wondered why Slick Billy used a cigar instead of a slick willie? Could it be it was the stiffest thing in the room? Someone will have to ask him that and see how angry he gets. Dick Morris says Slick's anger is in direct proportion to the truth of the question.

Geeze, James, you survived the anklepants years . . . how can you ask this? It's a certainty. Any given drop of swamp algae is brighter than anklepants and his crowd . . . in aggregate.

It is an embarassing joke to see Mrs. Clinton trying to justify what her husband said. This is getting to be absord. What I don't understand is the waffling, flip-flopping/ Billy-In-Between policy of the Democrat party. They are all over the place on this issue.

There message is resondingly incoherrent. They claim to support a stong national security. They claim the threat of terrorism is not that bad (Karl ROve want's to scare us.) They do not support Cut&Run, but they want to get the troops out of Iraq yesterday. They are all over the map.

They also wonder why Americans do not repsect their position.
