    Strange things going on.Seems all the so called republicans that talked crap about Trump during the election are about to be offered positions in his administration.Even SC governor Nookie Haley is rumored to be offered a job.

    Yes Sir....heard all about how Trump didn't need Cruz, yet Trump pursued him for an endorsement towards the end. Trump is building a coalition, for people to be dismissive and want to believe it is Romney chasing Trump is short sighted. Cruz encouraging his followers, many of which to that point being "never Trumpers" may very well have to contributed to Trump's victory. To ignore that is nothing but foolish arrogance. It took a lot more than just Trump loyalist for Trump to get elected. Too make peace with Romney is a smart play toward greasing the skids to a successful presidency. Now that really pisses off the Trump loyalists because they want Trump to rub people's faces in it. Well Trump wants to be successful and he can't wage war with all sides.

    He's got to surround himself with some of the hard line republicans or else he'll be facing impeachment before summer. He's got to have a few running interference for him. He can weed them out over a couple of years.

    It's hard for me to imagine why Romney would accept the secretary of State position even if offered, their views on foreign policy seem too divergent.

    Some of these people he is meeting with are undoubtedly for information sake. Before you can be an effective CEO you need to understand the company, the product, the market, logistics, the consumer etc. Certainly before you can make changes you need to understand what it is you wish to change and the expected as well as the possible outcomes.

    he wants to see if Romney (and Haley) are spineless. if they come and kiss the ring they are in effect groveling and since they did, Trump won't offer them chit.

    they would have showed some character/convictions had they refused to meet with him. IMO of course.
