they go? Are they sleeping out there? Is there a special day set aside JUST for passing gun laws and making it hard to actually have rights!!! Does anyone think a person selling in another state will go to this much trouble to get a firearm to a buyer? I certainly don't plan on participating in California's silly games. I will no longer sell to anyone in California....I see no choice in the matter. If I have been notified that there are special rules to follow....that are impossible to actually do....I am still held accountable for doing so. AND I REFUSE!

(off topic. I would never sell anything to california.)
L.F. that's exactly what the state of Calf. wants you to do,don't do it.[:(]
Plus 1. I'm sure there are other dealers who will do the same. Just another victory for California.[V][V]

The sad thing is that the Government of California does not on the ste State and it is the people who live in California who are the real losers.
I would sell any kind of gun I could to anyone in California just to keep the commie lawmakers from winning! By not selling, you are doing exactly what they want you to do. Don't let 'em win!
I am 100% with you on this, but I can't help thinking that not selling to CA is a better choice. For the same reasons that our presence in Iraq will not help because the local citizens have to earn their own freedom in order for them to appreciate it (and they didn't), forcing Californians to work for and earn their gun rights back is the only way to make them appreciate the problem.
The longer you guys hold out and comply with the rediculous CA laws passed by a bunch of hippie Liberals, the stronger the laws get.
Don't allow Californians to complacently lose their rights, cut them off now and perhaps it will piss them off enough to get off their collective lazy * and do something about it.
There, finally, is the common sense needed.
At some point in time, an American HAS to say..." No longer will I serve you with knee pads on.."...
Let the ten or a dozen decent people move out of California...and leave it to the insane.

Highball makes a great point !
The weather may be great and the lifestyle fabulous ,but how long do you put up with this garbage ?
I read in one article that if the top 2000 wage earners in Cal.
left the state it would have to file bankruptcy.
That will not happen because they are part of the idoits pushing this trash.
What would happen if 200,000 gun owners decided to leave ?
Sadly , the ceasiest thing to do is *.
We all should remember several years back when the head of the state
senate told a teenage Olympic shooter(after their target pistols were banned )that maybe her family should move to another state.
The gauntlet has been thrown down !
How many dealers are there in the PRK? Enough to bring pressure to bear on the hired help and get the law changed? Enough to have an impact on the overall state economy?
One problem I see with no more guns coming in: It would create a similar situation to what the 1986 machine gun ban did, driving prices skyward on the now-finite supply. Once gun values escalated to a certain level, someone outside the PRK would jump through the hoops and comply with the law to make the profit.
As for me, for now anyway, no shipments of firearms to the PRK after July 1.
If you are a seller in ANY state you are already following some of the most rediculous procedures to be able to do business. If you are an FFL holder in California you are aware of the "allowed" firearms, mags, transfer procedures and I am certain that any and all laws are followed as far as these things go. This "pre-approval" letter is like having to buy gas before you buy the car. If you BUY the car....you will definately be buying gas....and if you TRANSFER a firearm to California....the FFL holders recieving it will follow the laws already in place. This is rediculous.
My refusal to participate in California gun sales is not "letting them win"....I just cannot see any reasonable person going along with crap like that. Its wrong and stupid and I TRY not to do things that are wrong and stupid.
http://ag.ca.gov/firearms/cflcoverview.php All you have to do is enter the receiver's CFLC id and it will generate a "Ship Letter" or a "Do Not Ship" Letter. We will be creating a FAQ to let sellers know about it. If any of you have specific experience with the system, please let us know sot hat we can include it in the FAQ.
So am I reading this correctly? A Type 03 C&R holder can ship to California without an "OK to ship" authorization but a Type 01 dealer can't? That's ridiculous.
Any unlicensed individual can send a firearm to an FFL in California without a letter. Type 01 FFL holders can ship C&R rifles and shotguns over 50 years old to Type 03 FFL holders without a letter.
