I heard washington had a plan to control all apliances. If you used more than your allotment, they could turn you off.

That scares the hell out of me. To think this came out of the Bush/Cheney Administration.
The more I look into this, the more I wish we actually knew what was said in those Cheney energy meetings!
I thought nothing relevant was said at the time, but I am seeing some unusual now.
I don't think those meetings were much-a-do about nothing anymore.
