late model buick lesabre ????????????

I figured this to be the best place to ask since these are old farts cars and this forum is fully optioned with those fo-sho.[:p][:p][:D]




ok, I bought a 2005 lesabre - last year for that model. it is the "limited" edition. they made a "custom" edition. My ? - what is the dif? I have seen pics on ebay and read the options and the limited I bought has every option you can get. lady ordered it with the "prestige package" which was a $4k option add on. car listed for $37k. how much was the optioned PA?

also I figured that since it was option loaded isn't it pretty much a Park Avenue in a Lesabre's body?

the PA is the top of the line buick so what option would you get on it that you wouldn't see on a fully optioned Lesabre?

Not sure about the 2005, but the Park Avenue was always the fancy version of the Electra, and even with the PA, there were options available. I don not kno0w if they had a special name for a fully loaded LeSabre.

I have my FIL's 1978 Park Avenue, and it has every option that was available.

Probably best to go on back issues of consumer reports or check kelly blue book for differentials.

So what color is it? Gold or silver? 2005 I'm going to guess 1 had navigation and 1 didn't.

it has the $750 special paint upgrade whatever that is but it is metallic pearl. not listed as a choice on the edmunds site. they did show white but not this color.

..I'd like to have some of my Dad's cars. 1960's Lesabres, Electras and a 70 or 71 "boat-tail" Riviera. The Electras and the Riv had 455's that would smoke one tire forever. (Hey, I was a teenager!) Those back seats were huge!
