Hogue Grips for Ruger

Super Red Hawk...

This may be a * question but...

I am about to buy a set of grips for a friend of mine. My question is about how they screw onto the frame. The original grips have a screw through the center. The Hogue grips screw in the bottom like on my GP100. Is the bracket for the Hogue grips already there or does it come with them???

I've got aftermarket grips on my SRH, but I can't say for sure they are Hogue. I'm at work right now, I'll look when I get home. If I remember correctly, my rubber grips have a screw through the sides like the OEM's. I do remember they didn't fit too well at the top. Otherwise, they're a vast improvement over the OEM's.

I bought wood houge grips for my baby eagle and they required a bit of finish fitting with the dremel. I am quite happy with them now. They used all the stock screws and holes.

I have a set of wood hogue grips for my redhawk, and the little atachment came with the grips. I've been happy with mine also, after a little fitting with a dremel.
