Detective Special

Picked up a Detective Special on the auction side. Has some slight pitting, nothing bad, just several places and you can barely feel it.
Would this be a good candidate for a re-blue?
I have a S & W Chief's Special that has been re-blued and it looks great. Too nice to carry, in fact. That's why I bought the Colt.
What's a good re-blue cost on a small frame revolver?

I'm going to look at a Colt Detective Special. The guy claims it's mint and a snub nosed .38 special.

What are some things to look for on these things?

He's asking 450 for it. Is that a good price?

Anywhere from $100 (local smith) to $190 (think that is the S&W price for polish & blue a revolver)
