Families want bus stop moved away from strip club, liquor store

ATLANTA -
Family members concerned about a school bus stop next to a liquor store and strip club want Atlanta Public Schools to move the location.
The bus for Crawford Long Middle School students drops them on Connell Avenue at Metropolitan Parkway next door to a package store.
"And then you've got a strip club over there? These kids don't need to be exposed to that. They already know enough," complained Felicia Travis.
Travis' 11-year-old niece, Tianna Hall, rides the bus.
Tianna told Channel 2's Amy Napier Viteri at least one of her classmates has already shown interest in the nearby businesses.
"She said she wanted to be a stripper, same thing they're doing over there. She said she wanted to get money," Travis said.
For Travis, safety is also a concern. She pointed to students walking home along Metropolitan Parkway.

from 4th grade till high school i knew a black kid that every time he was asked what he wanted to do when he grew up, he said he was going to be a pimp, he didnt learn that anywhere near school
