Upside down Manufacturer stamp

I have a Mossberg 500E 20 ga. shotgun that has the Manufacturer stamp upside down on the left side of the vent rib and right side up on the other side. I don't think this is anything that would make it more valuable but thought I would ask.

Yep
Over the years, their QC goes up & down. Been a fan of their 410 pump gun. Older ones were nice, newer ones look like crap. Bolt guns are fugly. Same variances with their 500s.
