I just passed my first full PT test since my back surgery!! 82.4 out of 100 possible points. This was also my first full PT test in 2 and a half years. It's a good feeling but I'm not leaving it at that. My run time and sit-ups were on the week side, I only made the minimum requirement for each. It's all good though, I passed and now have 6 months to improve before my next test.

Good for you! I'm sure it is a good piece of mind knowing that you are on the topside of your rehab!

Yep, even more so knowing my job is secure. That is the biggest thing on my mind with all of the budget cuts, roll backs, and sequester BS that's going on. Experience and a smile isn't enough to keep you in anymore, you have to fight constantly for your job and I cleared a huge personal hurdle with this pass. Need to work on improving, the next PT text will not challenge me like this one did.

Wrong brother again. I'm a B52 crew chief stationed at Minot AFB, ND. I hold the rank of Staff Sergeant.

Crew Chiefs rule. They have changed the PT test much since my days. I scored 86 the year I retired. If you stay in, you will see mil budgets go up and down proportional to who is in charge in govt. I don't think any president can beat Carter. Imagine having 36 B52s and 8-9 are cann birds.

Well, to a crew chief, any plane that isn't his is a cann bird candidate.

Nah,....I just forgot the [:D] face.
You are the one that had the surgery I will likely be undergoing soon.

I'm glad it's getting better for you.

Mine was a success. My advise to anyone who's going in for a spinal fusion is to keep moving when you get release from the hospital and follow your rehab to the letter.

Thank you for your service. Is it still cold in Minot?
