A blonde woman goes to the post office to buy stamps for her Christmas
    Cards.

She says to the clerk, "May I have 50 Christmas stamps?"

    The clerk says, "What denomination?"

The woman says, "God help us. Has it come to this? Give me 6 Catholic, 12 Presbyterian, 10 Lutheran and 22 Baptists."

...We quit sending them a few years ago. Still get a few though. I got really tired of the ones with copied letters about how great everyone has been doing for the last year....."______ got straight A's and is president of the honor society. _______got a promotion and a huge raise. Our vacation home is coming along nicely. You'll have to drop in somtime. Blah, blah, blah". Why do people I never see, think I care?

...Maybe spreading the news of good fortune is their way of giving thanks, but the Grinch in me says it's bragging.

About 40 most years, a few names get added or subtracted. It gets more expensive each year with the price of cards and postage.

Always get a "family letter" from a relative that is actually a superintendant of schools (now retired). For years I have gotten out my red pencil and corrected sentences like: "The boys has done real good in their sports this year." I have always thought better of my impulse before grading it D and returining it though, because he is really a good guy. Wonder why Johnny can't read?

She does them, or it would not happen.
Probably around 12 sent and 25 received.
It is the ONLY time of year I hear from most of them.

LOTS of people are no longer here, to send them to. [:(]

We don't send out as many as we use to years ago, maybe 30 or 40 now.

    We send out around 20-30.
These are the cards you have made with a photo you provide.
Usually, it's a picture of our kids. One year it was a family portrait. These go out to close friends and family.

I send ZERO but Mrs K has a list of dozens of folks who she feels would not be able to enjoy their Christmas without getting a card from us.
