Ever tried this kind of ale?

It will whip your *, it you dont watch it.[B)]

Reaper Mortality Stout (22 OZ BTL)

GOLD MEDAL 2005 LA COUNTY FAIR. Blacker than black, this low-carbonation stout is redolent of roasted barley, bittersweet chocolate and coffee; super-dry and not richly filling.

Sounds like Kahlua with a hint of Everclear in it. What the hell, do they now have faggy wine writers doing beer?[:D]

    Unibroue--Terrible 10.5%

Their La Fin Du Monde is very good too. It's a 9%.

Their Satanic undertones are kind of creepy though.

I'd like to give it a shot. We went to the local brewing company. They have a brew called "Black Angus" and it is truly BLACK. They serve it at room temperature. After 1 - 16oz draft I was nice and relaxed to say the least.
Half of the lives they tell about me aren't true.

I can vouch for this one. It comes by its name honestly. It is imported from the Orkney Isles (off Scotland for the geographically challenged). It is some good stuff. I've got a couple of bottle in the fridge now.

One of the best ales I ever tried was called McEwan's and hailed from Scotland. McEwan's is full bodied, had only a mild bitter taste and I think it ran around 8% alcohol. This was my ale of choice when I was ashore after working out in the North Sea back in the late 1980's.
