Yes I just spent 3 long damn weeks in the hospital. Ended up getting put in for the damn blood clot in the lung and ended up having lung surgery. Was touch and go there for a bit but I'm back at home now.

Sorry to hear about that. I was in the hospital for over 3 weeks in September and I also had a blod clot that required surgery but mine was on my large intestine. It cut the flow of blood off to a section of the intestine which caused gangrene to set in which required about a foot section to be removed.

I hope they put you on a blood thinner? I came home after the surgery and they didn't put me on blood thinner. I started having problems again in just a couple of days. They put me back in the hospital and did another CT scan and I have another blood clot not to far away from where the first one was. They put me on blood thinners this time and did a couple more CT scans over a couple of weeks and so far so good.

I don't know why they didn't put me on a blood thinner the first time?

    Glad you're home
Although always described as a cowboy, Roswellnative generally acts as a righter of wrongs or bodyguard of some sort, where he excels thanks to his resourcefulness and incredible gun prowesses.

    Godspeed on your recovery.
I spent 5 days in the horsepistol a couple years back, I can't imagine 3 weeks! Ugh!
One of the worst parts of my stay was that I couldn't get on GB or any other firearms site. Their IT guys had it all blocked. The withdrawls from that were less pleasant than the infection in my knee!

I can relate. My experience is that most Hospitals block anything with "Gun," in the title. Frustrating, but if you do not use their Wi-fi, but your own service, easily gotten around.

    The new PC world, sucks.

Thanks everyone, it was a long 3 weeks most of which I did not even look at my phone lol. Still a long road to heal but thankfully I'm home. They thought they could do the surgery like the gallbladder surgery but the lung was to messed up and had to cut me about 10". Worst now is I'm missing hunting season lol
