I have a 95 F150 6 cyl w/air and my mechanic thinks my fan clutch is going out. question is: what years will fit. I live in very small town and local junk yards have mostly older parts. Yes, I can get one on internet but had rather buy locally ,if possible,. Thanks, Tom

Fan Clutchs are not that expensive, 4/6 bolts $20 and your on your way.

    Easy fix.

"Thinks" your fan clutch is going out?? A fan clutch isn't that hard to check, and it is good, or bad. Maybe you could post the problem you are having, and we could help you figure out what is wrong. A new fan clutch is fairly expensive(50-80)dollars, but easy to replace. I wouldn't buy a used one, you might end up with the same problem, and not know if you have another bad fan clutch, or some other problem.

Actually, on that engine you'll need to know the rotation direction of the fan, about $45-50, and the fan clutch should screw directly onto the pump shaft and requires a slim wrench to remove it
