FAL gas tube pin

Ok... need a new one of these - apparently the angry beavers that "gunsmith" for Century don't use em - they just tighten the gas tube in and then some.

Don't really want to make a minimum $20 order from somewhere, nor pay $10 to ship a $1 part.

Anyone know the dimensions of this? Its the little pin that keeps the gas tube in position up front. If I know what size it is (dia. and width) then I can maybe get a replacement here in town...

This isn't rocket science, go to a hardware store and buy an assortment of rollpins. Dremel or file to fit lengthwise.

True, but I know we have a FAL 'smith or two on hte forums here... save the trial and error bit of it...

The Gas tube pin measures .078 dia and .380 long

Don't use a roll pin, cut off the shank of a 5/64 drill bit. Make sure you don't screw your gas tube in too far, you will cause the end to crush, and it will make your piston bind.
