No, I am not dreaming. I have made the same request before, and for a long time, everyone did as asked. Here lately though, some of them have slacked off a bit.

I wish there were a way to tell who made a thread go poof, but there isn't.

Rut-Roh; things are cyclical around here! We went from scratching our heads wondering what happened to having 2-4 Mods posting after the lock and registering their parting shots and then back to anonymity! Looks like they're going to have to "fess up" again; hopefully this time without the piling on and parting shots! [;)][}:)][:D]

There is no need for parting shots, only a brief explanation, such as, "This thread has run its course," or, "Some of you aren't being nice," and then the lock.

Like this one.

Actually Franc...some folks here call that a parting shot...even though you are 100% correct (and you had no part in locking this thread). You can't make everyone happy...no matter what you do.
