Do you think you guys could do the weekend thing with us at the Harrisburg Outdoor show? Maybe some dinner, go to Cabella's. It would be great if we could get a bunch to stay at the Hotel! Make a party out of it!!!

I am up for dinner. But my days of partying in hotels are long gone. I guess it is all relative to where you are coming from, but I do not think that Cabelas is all that close to the harrisburg gun show. I could be wrong, but I think you are talking about a couple of hours.

Well it would be nice to meet a few of you guys, were not much partiers anymore either! Our idea of a party is getting together with friend over dinner or coffee and shooting the bull! The women want to shop!

Well if I drive 4 hours to Harrisburg, I might as well drive another 2 hours to Cabella's! Ive never seen one and thats probaly as close as Im gonna get to one!!!

If you are staying for the weekend, Cabelas is definately woth going to. When I went to Cabelas, I couldnt believe all of the out of state license plates.

You guys noticed that also. I'm from Maryland and just a few weeks ago I stopped in at the new Cabela's outside of Topeka and saw a gazillion license plates from Missouri and Kansas. [:D]

I stopped there yesterday after the gun show, not a pleasant experiance! I did get a few chuckles though listenting to some of the folks "Who Do Not Get Away From The Urban Scene Much" talking about how you go about getting a Mule Deer on the east coast[:D] Maybe I have it too good being raised in an enviroment where knowing the outdoors comes natural and that makes me a snob in some ways but my god some of these city folks are outright hillarious and some of them just makes ya want to yell out, "Will ya just shut yer dang mouth if ya don't know what you are talking about!!!"[:D][:D][:D][:D]

[:D][:D]I can relate. I stopped by to visit my grandmother the other day and my uncle was there(city-slicker). He started telling us how one of the biggest mountain lions ever killed, was just killed in the DC metro area (down near his house, too). He went on to say, this cat weighed in at 60lbs! I about fell out of my chair, laughing at him. I went on to tell him that he must be thinking of a bobcat. Unfortunately my mom's side of the family are city folk...and liberals to boot. I live pretty close to them, but rarely ever visit them b/c I cannot stand being around them.
