    That is a good question Eric and I would have to say no. New Jersey Chapter 39, section 2C part 39-1w shows the HK-91 as an assault weapon. This is followed by part (2) which indicates Any firearm manufactured under any designation that is substantially identical to any of the firearms listed above (which includes the HK-91) would also be considered to be an assault weapon.

    I've had quite a few folks from NJ trying to buy illegal firearms from me lately...one was even a supposed cop who wanted a full auto without sending me Dept Letterhead.
