He Dog -- or anyone near ABQ, NM

I have a buddy that is in the process of moving to Albuquerque. I just gave him his first gun (new Ruger SP-101 .357 3" with Hogue Monogrips), and took him and his girlfriend to the range.

Anyway, he is looking for a range in ABQ and a decent gunsmith/gunshop in case he has any problems. He also has lots of questions! I told him that I would post here and ask, since there seems to be some pretty knowledgable folks from that area around here.

We shot at an indoor range here and he did not enjoy that, and the girlfriend enjoyed it less (noise, poor ventilation, etc). They both did really well. It was his 2nd time shooting a handgun, and first time shooting this .357 -- first 5 rounds grouped 1" @ 15 yards. His girlfriend, first time ever shooting a gun, put 8 from my Ruger P-89 in 1.5" at 10 yards!
