I just had a 6 week old Miniature Doberman given me by a cousin. Still have not named her but she has settled right in and stolen everybodies heart. She has had her tail docked but not her ears cropped. I dont like cutting dogs for looks but Momma wants her to look like Gus our old dobie we lost long ago. What is your take crop or leave the natural? Any suggestions for a name for this little lady?

Well I finally did it. Tori and I went to Best Buy the other day to pick up a new phone. Of course, when you walk in you see the huge Hi-Def TV's in the back. Like the proverbial moth to a lamp, we were drawn to them. My parents have a 65" Plasma and we love it. The next day she calls me at work and says we need to look around for one. So that night we took this home......

She's the first of the next generation for our family. We're all super excited. I should mention that this is my brother and sister-in-law's daughter...not mine.

    depends on the dog.
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

    Well, I'm with you.

Better give her a pretty name because that's one ugly dog.

aww thanks I think she's cute. I've got others a husky mix, a collie mix, a basenji and the wife's poodle. So we can afford to have a few ecclectic lookin pups running around

You should name him after the dog that was in "The Little Rascals" he had one black eye like that. Think it was Pete or Peaty or something like that. Great looking pup.

Oh, and good luck with that putting your foot down thing.[:D]

what about shilo? This is shiloh, he died Jan 22, 2010 from gastric torsion (stomach flipping). He was a gentle giant, 120 lbs of snuggler, unless he didn't know you and didn't like you around his Daddy...best dog I ever had, and greatly missed

we have six right now, soon to be seven. But the collie mix is 17 and the poodle is 15 so it won't belong before they are at the rainbow bridge with Shiloh.

I agree!!! She seems to favor a blue heeler in coat and color more than a Dalmation

Beautamus for sure. She should fit right in with the rest of the pack. Be ready for a lot of training as it seems girls are harder to train than boys i have found out!. This little female stinker i have @ 7 months old runs circles around me and the old dragon!
