Todays Auction Find..

Went to an Auction of a friends of mine because there were a couple guns up for sale.. Forget aboutit...[:0] Did manage to get some US Military stuff from back in the 50 and 60s,, One item is a canvas Shower bag, which I took a few showers under in Viet Nam.. A couple of US navy survival packs, with the TP, Halazone, matches and such from around 1945 The flasks double as water containers... The best of all I found in the bottom of the bag,, 1950 vintage US Navy survival gear for fishing and cooking..This is the original paper and all the parts and peices are all there..

I did some on line research and back last year a guy won a contest with Field and Stream with the same peice of Vintage tackle.. There is one that sold on a website but they wont give you what it brought without joining them at 9.95 a year... I did find the Showerbag for sale for 40 bucks though..[:D][:D]

Do you have the rods that go with the set?? I was getting $120.00 per NOS set of rods and tin can on fleabay 5 years ago. I got 15 set at an auction real cheap since no knew what Gaffing Kits were![:D]

Yep! got the entire set, rods spit point and all...I saw one other on the net that the guy wants 50 bucks just for the spear and gaff hooks with no shaft...Found another site where a guy has the two survival flasks that are empty with the canvas case, for 150.00 .. [:0][:0] I had no Idea this stuff was worth that much..
