Maybe not the bargain of the century, but I'm happy with it. Lyman 50 cal. Plains Pistol. Been wanting one something like this for a while, to go with my Hawkins. Picked it up off of a local internet trade group for $100. I think I did OK!

Wasnt much at the Mkt today, guy brought me a never fired Ruger Single Six Convertible in the red Box, dated 1973. In the box was a Ruger Catalog from 1974,, would you believe a ruger no 1 rifle only cost 160 bucks back then, and the Mark 1 pistol was only 87.oo bucks.. wow times have changed,, The Single six was only 120 then with both cylinders..[^]
