Dumbarse lets another one slip on the air. Now, he is trying to spin it and say it was a smartarse commentary on how the police arrest Blacks for no reason. What a piece of chit![:(!]

Whatever happened to the 1st Amendment....why do we all have to be so worried about what we say anymore???? I believe that Don Imus has the right to say whatever he wants, if people don't like what he is saying, all they have to do is hit the off switch!

Just as advertisers have the right to pull their adds, and Radio Stations have the right to control the content of their broadcasts. Just as those that wish him to shut up have the right to voice their opinions. This is not a 1st Amendment issue. The Federal Government is not trying to shut him up. He is being attacked by those exercising the same free speech rights as he is.

Don't care what Imus said, but if you're going to say it, then stick to your guns! Don't cave under pressure, then try to spin it.

Imus is a racist but Obama is a saint[:0]BS

Why worry about a man who will never have control over anything that can really hurt anyone when the biggest racist on the tv is getting away with everything on his way to become the LEADER of the USA!
Some people need to get their priorities straight(sp).

Imus is a well known racist--he called black people who worked with him the N word when he worked at WNBC back in the 80's. I could care less what he says-I dunno how anyone could stand to listen to him-he is BORING.[xx(]

Iraq Obama is not muslim, he is catholic or something. He was really born here, I'm pretty sure. He has no reason to lie about anything. I don't know that he is the anti Christ like some folks have said, but I don't think he is going to be good for our country. I think we are screwed, I think he will be old man McCain.

Imus implied that black people get arrested more often than other races.
What is wrong with saying that? It's true.
According to FBI crime statistics, blacks commit around 55 per cent of the violent crimes. Blacks are 14 per cent of the population. You do the math.

No reason to lie about anything?
Did anyone tell you he is a politician?

As to him being a Muslim, he claimed to the New York Times that he thinks the most beautiful sound in the world is the Islamic call to prayer.

Obama's father is Muslim and his half brother believes he is a Muslim. While I don't think anyone really thinks Obama is a practicing Muslim, despite his claims, there is plenty of evidence to suggest that WHEN HE WAS A CHILD he was a Muslim:

And why would he lie about this? Many reasons, not the least of which is that he thinks it will cost him votes.

What makes him/this relivent is that Obama has thrown down the race card. Claiming, w/no substance that the Repubs WILL use racism in the Presidential race.
AND Al Sharpton has ALREADY equated Imus's statement to that.

Why is Imus a racist ?? The stats speak for themselves, now telling the truth and obvious is considered racist.... Thats right, he's white so it makes him a racist. A spade is a spade no matter what suit it is from, people want equal rights only when it's convenient for them. Screw em all, it's time for people to get the hell over it and whine about crap that matters. There are plenty of underfed kids in America living on the streets, when Sharpton, Wright and the rest of them start helping them I will give a chit.
