shipping cost problem

Hello, I had won an auction and after cotacting the seller about shipping costs i was told it would be $ 30.00,, I sent the appropriate funds and the gun was shipped and recieved and i get a email saying i owe another $ 70.00 because he did not know he had to send next day air, what would you folks do?? (p.s. it was a new seller )

My kid ordered a chevy 12bolt rearend for his '72 Nova from Moser....paid what they asked and ended up getting a bill from UPS for around $80.00 for delivery to a residance....he ignored it never heard another thing ...that was three years ago

What the seller didn't know, he has to pay to learn.

Lesson 1. Know what shipping costs.

I'd be a mensch and offer to split it with him. But I would not offer to pay the whole amount, he should have know the cost and gone from there.
