I was talking to the assistant manager at Walmart about ammo. He is a Lieutenant Colonel in the National Guard. He told me that ammo is probably going to go up 500%. He said that the military is pushing for higher prices and that if they do not get it that they will buy ammo somewhere else.

    Has anybody heard this?

I have dogs coming to my house and eating my dogs food. We have 4 automatic feeders. When my wife went outside to make the other dogs leave one of the dogs growled at my wife. When the dog did that Scooby tore his butt up. I was thinking of shooting them with 22 shot shells. Will that hurt them. I dont want to hurt them just get there attention and make them stay home. Any ideas David

Im building a 20 x 20 building at the back of my property and i was thinking about moving my ammo out there.

Would that be a good or bad idea? They are all stored in ammo cans but the do not all have silica gel packs in them.

I have no experience with it so I thought I would ask here.

    I just bought 2 boxes of Hornady Custom 45 auto +p 200 gr JHP/XTP.

    How good is this stuff?

I normally carry Hydrashock low recoil 45 165 gr.

Is it worth switching over too over my Hydra's?

I know it is alot cheeper to buy.

I was looking on GB for ammo and every one says pay exact shipping. If you buy ammo on the internet do you have to pay crazy prices for shipping like hazmat?

It's good stuff *_r_done. I would rate the Hornady XTP, Speer Gold Dot, Remington Golden Saber and Federal Hydra-Shok all on the same plane.
It's good enough to use for personal defense work -- and it'll "*_r_done" [:D].
PS= I would personally rather have it than the 165gr Low Recoil round you were using -- the 200gr should hit harder [^].

Thats kinda what I was thinking. I just have never shot it before.

And it cost 1/2 the price of the hydrashocks.
