Anyone have a Mectech Glock Carbine Conversion?

I have been wanting a 10mm carbine and was looking at the Mechtech uppers that use a G20 frame. Has anyone put a 10mm carbine together this way? Any issues or problems?

What is the story on the plastic piece Mechtech says is necessary to make the carbine feed properly?

The glock block is a feed ramp. You just put it in place, and slide the CCU on, and the block stays in place. As for accuracy, etc: I get around 5" at 50 yards, standing, with a 1X red dot on it, using Silvertips. I have never shot it off the bench, so don't know what it is capable of that way. I don't really keep close track of round count, but it has quite a few and has been 100% absolutely reliable. Recoil is about nil, as the unit is pretty hefty.
