It says ALL MEN, not ALL WHITE MEN. Our founding fathers were influenced by God, and often reference God and Providence in their writings. God does not see black and white. Perhaps you should give it a try as well.
Are you referring to our Founding Fathers, the signers of our Constitution? Of whom, twelve of them owned slaves. The Founding Fathers considered a black to only be three-fifths of a person. The Emancipation Proclamation wasn't declared until 1862 & 1863. The 15th Amendment wasn't ratified until 1870, well after our Founding Fathers had passed, and not all States recognized a black's "right" to vote until the Voting Rights Act of 1965. It is quite clear that our Founding Fathers did see black and white. I can't speak for God, nor can you...
100K bail. Burress's lawyer had the brass ones to complain about it
A witness says that he or she heard a report and saw an apparently bloody pistol fall from Burress's pant leg, then Burress began to become wobbly
Apparently the NYPD actually briefed the players on handgun violations during training camp this year!
If the story about the club he was at just letting him unload the firearm (can't tell if this story is true or not) is true then they were knowingly about to let him break the law as there's no concealed carry permit that Burress has in NYC
I'm well aware of the statistics. That still doesn't give you the right to stereotype someone simply based on their color.

He has every right to stereotype. What are you, the thought police? He has the right to hate whoever he wants to or love them based upon whatever characteristics he chooses.
Oh, gotta disagree, chaoslodge. He does not have the rights provided by the US Constitution, or any other rights at all actually, on this forum

You do realize that was an anti-slavery position, right?
Slave states wanted blacks to be counted as a full person, for purposes of representation in Congress.

Rack,.....even though you are a "damned Wildcat" fan,......I give you credit for being quite intelligent.
I was going to mention that, but chose not to, and escape the endless questioning.

It's ironic that a man with the handle "Rebel James" is the one that can successfully defend Mr. Burress. Mr. Burress has the right to carry a firearm under the Second Amendment! The New York law banning such is unconstitutional!
Where the * is Highball when you need him?
What I don't understand is that they knew about this over the weekend. They knew he broke the law by having the gun. But, he was left alone for the weekend and "allowed to turn himself in on Monday".
If this was a common citizen, you would have had a S.W.A.T. unit kicking down your door, putting a knee to your head while they slap the cuffs on and dragging you out immediately!!

The 2nd Amendment has a clause about concealed carry at a night club when you're on an out of state permit that the city you're in doesn't recognize? [;)]
Well, he's up to his ears in alligators facing mandatory jail time. The Hospital also is in trouble for not reporting a shooting injury.
It was a Glock in the waistband incident.
He was even allowed to go home to New Jersey with the Glock where he wasn't legal either.
All people are equal under the law but some people are more equal.
Mayor Bloomberg is in on the act and has made a statement.
Let's see how this pans out.
You know if he had any brains he should fight this for everything its worth. Someone with his money could turn this into something good if you ask me.
Its his right to carry a gun. Ok I don't know how it went off in this nightclub but he still should have the right to carry his gun. He should not need a permit in the first place am I right???
I say take this and fight it all the way. I would be in total support of him if he would do this. He needs to say take your permit and shove it with the money he has.
I think something good could come out of this if he had a fire in his belly like most on this forum do but you know he probably doesn't even know what the 2nd says.
