Went to the shop/range w/ 3 guns & came back w/ 5!

Went to the local gun shop/range with a friend today. Took my Glock 20, 29, and 35 for some fun on the range. After an hour or so of shooting, we browsed the counter in the shop. I ended up buying a NIB Kahr P-45 (stainless) and a LNIB Remington 597. Can't complain about either price....First, let me say that the shop owner is a good friend. The Kahr was priced $639...he let me have it for $545. The Remington 597 was $119....he let me have it for $56!! Did I mention that he is a GOOD FRIEND??? All in all, it was a good day!! I'm happy!!!!

    Slyder...I have a 597, chunky little gun that I like so much better than the 10/22 I had...it has a real trigger, and you can get to the release. Different, has a ka-chunk, sound/feel to it when it cycles...I like it. accurate to for what it is, think you'll like it...congrats on both buys.

    ...Best friends brother is head of the PO's in Dallas, he has that same kahr, he likes his...got it after a criminal type he went to check on...took him hostage and held a knife to his throat,...never would carry before that, duh...[;)]
