I liked ECC when he wasn't in meltdown mode. Seemed like he wasn't out of that mode very often, though, there toward the end.

I loved how he posted all kinds of pictures of him hiking and working yet he had no real job and drew a govt. check for disability. He sure was a real piece of work.

Yup.....and way to much drama for me. I avoided his posts like the plague.

Funny how some of you relish the opportunity to take shots at him, now that he can't respond. Typical, when you never actually met him in person. No, I take that back. It's not funny. It's sad. But carry on. Maybe you think it'll make your EDIT for language.

I never had any issues with him and we both had GSDs in common.

I bought an M1 Garand from him. The rifle is perfect & performs as he said it would. Seemed like a real nice guy. I hope he's doing well.

I tried being supportive of him, and friendly, but his arrogance turned me off and when I asked him for support he pissed all over me.

I liked him and considered him to be a friend and miss him on the boards. On the other hand I feel that he was one of the worst moderators that we have had in General Discussion and his selection was most likely a result of his religious beliefs and willingness to abide by a specific forum agenda rather than his abilities. His allowing his wife to moderate in his absence was really the last straw.

    He took an N/A nap...

    On both fronts.

Good riddance too... He had become greater than thou... or at least, "he" thought so. [:(!]

I could take just so much of him, then I'd say something and get a 'cease and desist' notice from a moderator. I'm glad he's gone and I hope he's left the state.

Yep, he loved to pull the Mod Card. He even believed he could pull it on the Captn. Don

He was a real enigma! I never could figure out how he remained a moderator for so long; pulling the shenanigans he did combined with his hypocrisy (don't do as I do, do as I say)!

Oh, IBTL (unwritten rule no. 49; don't talk about those that can't defend themselves)! [}:)]

He did not have the ability to defend himself when he was here! Don

I took every shot at him I could because I saw him for what he was. A small minded little man given the power to zap post subjectively. He had the objectivity of a Inquisition monk and the morals of a Taliban.

Personally I didn't give a damn about his personal life since I didn't have to associate with him off the boards, but his demeanor here was a disgrace to the moderators (who do share some blame for not recognizing it sooner rather than later).

    It sucks to be him.

I agree with this, I always considered him a hypocrite, talking about how good of a christian he was, when his actions that he described in his stories were very unchristian like.
