So Cowdoc, are you a "Custom Cutter" or do you only harvest for yourself?
Maybe something wrong with my terminology, but in Montana we called them Custom Cutters and most came from Kansas I think.

That's about $1/2M worth of equipment I saw, do you farm or rob banks for a past-time? *LOL*

That there farming's hard work, I'd rather rob banks, given my "druthers" *LOL*

stanman, no just harvest my own ....have helped out a neighbor that was in a pinch....as dry as it is here though might jave to find a combine trailer and go look for something to harvest this year.....around here guess we call them custom harvesters....or wheat whackers [:D]....back when i was single and partying looked forward to the wheat whackers showing up made for some good parties.....made some good friends that way....a guy who used to cut for us asked me to go on the harvest run with them back when i was single...to this day i still regret not doing it atleast once.

Thick stubble. Must have been a good crop. Winter wheat or hard red?

If I was at least 15 years younger ... when I was single.
If you really desire something, you'll find a way ?
? otherwise, you'll find an excuse.

I see you haven't mounted my shotgunning seat on top of that sucker yet. Well, we have a few more months to go so no hurry.

Nice job on the semi rebuild.

    Hey Cowdoc and Bang 250.

    Good pics, both of y'all.

I worked for the local Deere dealer late 70's til '83.(until his old lady put him out of business and 18 people out of a job) Still love them Deeres!

I was raised on row binders, but found out what GOOOOD tractors were when I got to the green. 6620, 7720's were new then, and the 8850 V-8 Deere.

    Good memories, Thanks...

Looks like too much fun, NOT...

1/2 million $ wont touch the required equipment, unless your talking about the lease payments.

Our farmer, worked 6,000 to 8,000 acres, and traded tractors every other year.
Combines were good for 4 years, then they were worn out to.
Glad to be out of that mess.
