Gorgeous! My first ride in a Corvette was a 1969 427. I burn my leg getting out on the side pipe. I knew then I was hooked![:D]

I had that car only without the 427. Mine had the 350/350 with an 11:1 compression ratio. I had to use racing fuel and add lead.

It didn't go out much so the gas cost really didn't matter. I sold that car to go to law school.

Is it too late to trade back?

Better be careful, it looks like a plane is following you a bit too closely. Better not make any sudden stops.

Why involve yourself in a conversation that obviously you have no interest in? The title gives you plenty of fair warning to stay away. If you have nothing nice to say...

Question: if you passed by an establishment that was hosting a local Corvette club meeting, would you stop, go out of your way, and in person ask all those people "Why?"

It's amazing how the "anonymity" of the internet turns normally unconcerned and gracious people into arrogant and immature buttinski's.

A close friend had a 62 rag top,327-365 horse fuley with low gears. He would loan this little rockett to me from time to time. Little sucker would make even the big blocks run for cover, I,m thinking it was not stock, but street legal. It used to give me back aches after driving it.
I always after that period thought they were a chicks car, that is untill 1995 when they became a real threat on the race track, and of course today they rock!
