watched that this weekend.
I always liked the rocking songs, "Blue Collar Man", "Renegade", "Grand Illusion", etc.
I didn't realize what a little * Dennis DeYoung was.
They guy ruined the band IMHO. Went from rock to performance theater (Kilroy was Here) to Barry Manilow clone[xx(]
Also, the bassist was gay (didn't know that, don't care one way or the other), and he had to stop touring since his HIV was literally killing him. He's doing OK now.
Also, the drummer (the bassist's twin brother) died of alcoholism at 48. Bummer.
Interesting story about one of rocks better bands IMHO.

Seriously?
The guitar solo in "Blue Collar Man" is one of the best rock riffs ever!

went and seen them in concert when I was a teen ager. They SUCKED.[xx(]
Looks like I will likely get flamed for this.[:D] In the mid seventies Styx Equinox was a huge success. I don't remember the order of the Albums. I do remember Crystal Ball and Grand Illusion. I could likely write many of the lyrics down on paper today if I gave it a little thought. The young ladies of my time would go into a trance when this song was playing on the record player...[;)]

Tommy Shaw and Jack Blades from Night Ranger and later Damn Yankees. They have a great sound together and just seem to have fun making music. Several videos on YouTube.
