Auction ran 3 days and 30 minutes? Ended early?

I really think he must have been confused....and learning how things work. I'm glad to see he used the system the proper way.

    I see no problem here.

He listed it as a 3 day auction, & last-minute bids extended the closing for 15 minutes (twice).

I salute the seller; he made things right.

    You haven't been paying attention.

It's as though someone sent him a link to the previous thread. [;)]

Either that or someone (wink wink) gave them an ultimatum.

Had he not observed the GB rules he'd have been cancelled and banned. Once a bid is placed on an auction item the auction must run it's course and cannot be ended early. There are sellers that stipulate the item is available in their store and subject to sale BUT that can't happen if the auction has active bidders.

Somebody almost got robbed out of a winning bid and glad the seller made it right, for his sake.

Just my humble opinion and offered free of charge [8D]

He has sold or bought at least 30 items on the site.[:I]

Yes....but there are still several retail stores that think they can list things on the site that they still have for sale in the store. They see this kind of thing done by one person....they don't hang out on these forums....they just go about the day to day running of their business and have no idea they are breaking the rules. It takes a "wake up" like this one sale to get them on board with how things are supposed to be.
