Is anyone familiar with this gun? I have one and will be posting on GB this weekend.

Is that a scratch or a wild hair by where it says gold Cup on the right hand side of the slide?

This one has a little spec all of its own.....but that is one of my "wild hairs" you see there. The spec is on the same side, top of the rear on the slide....beside the grooves. Right now it is covered in fuzz from the zipper case I took it out of. I plan on posting SEVERAL pics showing the teeeeniny "flaw" on this one.

Have you seen my hair??? It is on that gun...behind that gun...under that gun....probobly even IN that gun. That hair is capeable of scratching that gun....but it hasn't (yet.)

its an NRA centenial special edition...1911 colt with gold cup national match enhancements in .45 acp....includuding an adjustable trigger flat top slide, eliason adjustable rear sights this one is further enhanced with special commemorative engraving and checkered walnut medalion grips...they were limited production and yours appears to be #1860 of 7500...with out the box and if it has been fired it is worth 825 bucks in 98% condition.
