Non paying bidder bidding AGAIN on my auction....
Locust Fork
Member Posts: 32,049 ✭✭✭✭
He was an "NR" buyer and didn't pay for the item he won.....so it restarted tonight, he has an F from me and I've filed the non paying bidder report. Whenever any "F" person is bidding on my items I look to see why they have that rating....it didn't hit me until I say the one feedback he has is from me.
So....I just sent him over a message warning him that he will be required to pay for whatever the highest price is....he is NOT getting this thing for cheaper if he wins it this time!

I won't play the "pay my fees" game ever again. I think someone who wins an auction and doesn't pay needs to wear a big RED non paying bidder NPR on their clothes! Think about how many people they waste time with doing that mess.
I give people an out. It did happen to me one time. My "gun budget" vanished when the transmission blew up in my truck. The seller didn't take credit cards, so I was stuck, and offered to pay the fees. In hind-sight, I shouldn't have been buying a gun, lol. Still embarassed about it. [:(]

I rarely get a non paying bidder.....more around the holidays, but not normally an issues. Most of the NR buyers that are non paying bidders fade off into the distance and are never heard from again.

you do know that you can go to your bank and use a cc to get cash. I think the fee at my bank was a straight up $15 for the service.

If ever there was a case for shill bidding this would be it. It's still not, but jeez, dang close.[:D][:D]

Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Kasey, you think this guy could just be playing with you???? Seems like he knows he screwed you once and this is his revenge for bad feedback???? Just a thought. I would block him from bidding.
I was hoping to hear back from him when I sent the message informing him he was still on the "hook" for the other auction if he wins this one.

he is still high bidder

He is way under the last ending price right now. We will see what happens......

Something about this just doesn't seem right.[:D][:D]
Doesn't GB have the ability to block bidders? Any bidder who buys from me and doesn't pay gets blocked! This is on ebay. You get one chance. IF someone offers to pay the fees, I'll let them out of it, and not block them. I had that happen to me here on GB one time, and the seller let me slide. I offered to pay the fees, but he declined. Stuff happens.

thats what i thought!

Looks like he won the auction.
You should have blocked him from bidding.

at a loss from the previous auction, his payment should get lost and be a npb once again, and blocked
he probably scared away bidders thinking he was a shill bidder
I see it is relisted. I assume he didn't pay, was banned from bidding on your items, and relisted. Right? Perhaps he can be banned by GB. He can change user names but not I.P. address.
I don't think you understand the whole picture. He was also bidding on the relisted item and was the high bidder. We have pretty sophisticated software that hunts people trying to open another account. It is usually pretty accurate.
Now I might have another one. small item, a magazine ended 7 days ago sent him a couple emails asked if he intended to pay not a word back.
Yep, he is a NR
Hate the hassle of reporting and getting fees reversed so i can rebid but life is not perfect which is the point of my reply

He got kicked to the curb. That is a very nice 20ga btw.
Thank you....I figured that one was going to be another non paying bidder. If he had answered ANY emails it wouldn't have been as weird.
