I was having problems with falling/passing out. They could not figure out what was wrong. I had to wear a heart monitor for a month.
Finally the took 8 tubes of blood and found out my Cortisol was 1.7. They said i have Addisons disease which means i have to take steroids the rest of my life.
My blood pressure would drop so low i would fall/pass out. I would have your Mom checked for this. Her pituitary gland or adrenal gland might not be working right and causes all kinds of problems.

I'm hoping that how she is now is what we can expect her to stay.....at least until age affects things, but she is only 70 now and too young to be as lifeless as she was only two weeks ago.
70 is too young for that. Good friend of mines Mother was 79 yesterday and watched the eclipse with us. I think she was more excited than her grandsons that were with us.
My 85(?) year old grandmother in in 100% better shape then my mother ( her daughter)
And nothing to do with an injury or sickness.
My grandmother is still fairly active, drives herself around, goes to
Church every Sunday.
My mother has been addicted to her computer since she "retired " at 51. She gets upset with me if I don't call or visit her 3 miles away. But she rarely calls me and my father comes over a few times a week and she NEVER comes over with him. To busy playing her games or facebook. Only time I can get her to come over is if my wife and I cook supper for them. Then she's off back home within an hour and back on her computer. I'll go over and she'll talk and visit for a half hour or so then put her headphones on and do whatever. [V]

Working on computers has really done a number on me too. I would say I have gained 50 pounds since I used to work retail. I'll take pictures, go up and down the stairs several times a day, my running around days are INSANE....I'll visit several businesses, do my grocery shopping, stop and buy bulk amounts of dog food, its go go go all dang day on those days. Since I have so much to get listed and I live so far away....I try to make the days I do go out a full day of errands to keep from having to leave on my other work days.
The problem with all of this is that none of it counts as exercise....its just wear-you-out type mess.
