I used to own a OA-98.... These should be sold with a set of the very best hearing protection on the market. I had a $40 set on and it was if I had no hearing protection at all. These will be banned. SIG just cam eout with their version that sells for $1400.00. I would love to have one but had to settle for a BushMaster Carbon 15...

If they are banned....it just means they will not be able to import any of them into the US. The ones that are here will go up in price (like the full auto market.) They can't ban what we own....just make it so we can't get any more.

Well they were already ban from being made domestically from 1994-2004. An import ban has no effect on these as they are made in Olympia WA. On top of all that there is the 1989 import ban STILL in effect.

I just meant they will probobly still make these....but we won't be able to get them any longer. The ones that are on the market have the potential to multiply in price....being very pricey. I think these are going to be a great investment. Even if no legislation is passed....gun prices very rarely go down....each year they go up even without bans or restrictions.
