There are a few people that if I see them bidding on things I know something is going WAY too cheap....they aren't bidding unless its really crazy low.

While it's a used RRA and the funds aren't going to the company, it may have gone cheaper than normal due to RRA's collusion with Springfield Armory in the recent debacle both companies were caught up in. Lots of potential buyers will no longer buy any RRA or Springfield Armory guns...new or used.

I'm waiting for all the Springfield M1A owners to sell off their rifles cheap on GB in protest to Springfield / RRA.

    That will show em!!![;)]

    Locust Fork,

While we all feel bad when one of your auctions doesn't go as well as planned, there is a reason for this one. This auction went for about the right price, maybe even a little high when compared to the market value.

Factory, mass assembled AR15s are not in huge demand and the supply is over the top. Most of the potential buyers bought these already and have as many as they need or want. The pressure from the gun haters has been relieved so the demand is slack. The larger slice of the market right now are the millennials and snowflakes who have decided that they were behind the 8-ball[8] and need to catch up to us. The rest of the market is stagnated with small amounts of sales going to those who just want more, not need, want to have more.

The only part of the market which is florishing is the custom side, mostly for the serious shooters and competition shooters. PRS has created a newer class of competition especially for gas guns and 3-gun competitions are gain ground fast.

    Best.

I just try to let you guys know about the steals so if something goes for a crazy deal, maybe....MAYBE....one of you guys can benefit from it.

Larry and Liam both have a couple AR15's....but I haven't claimed one "mine" yet. If I ever do decide I have to own one I think I will INSIST it have a Noveske muzzle break just to have the fire breathing pig on my gun.

i used to think the same way till i met a group that works there, they use rifle upper receivers, and hand grind the m4 feed ramps with a dremel tool on every rifle instead of an m4 upper, this grinding removes the anodizing and leaves weaker exposed aluminum as your feed ramps

    instead of this

    you get this

Yes AR15 sales are dead as a hammer. We have none in the store for sale now. I will probably add a couple in the next few weeks depending on what I see on the net as to prices. I am being offered some good deals on the cheaper and mid range guns. I may put a Daniels Defence and a FN higher grade gun in. Both are really nice and I don't see them being dumped at crazy prices.

I have about 6 here right now that will probably all go up this week. I'm trying to keep from listing a lot of the same type of thing all at once.
