I don't know how.....but this evening just came out of nowhere and I wasn't finished with as many as I liked, so I got some going without adding the pictures. Now....I am adding pictures to the LAST THING for tonight!

I think your Winchester model 70 in 30-06 is a standard sportster not a deluxe as they have white line spacers and a black tip on the stock. I could be wrong as I was wrong once before.....anyways it's a beautiful gun.
I looked up the deluxe and I ran into a picture with 4 examples of these....the Super Grade....Featherweight....Sporter....and Extreme Weather. Looking at what I found the Supergrades have the ebony endcap, but the delux was just nice checkered wood. If you look at 100 of them 1/2 will be listed as deluxe without anything different about them that I can see.
