I don't FFL so it's not an audit.
Back in May we had a home invasion an expensive necklace I gave the Mrs last Christmas, late MIL's watch, a Colt Detective 38 spl and a S&W 61-2. We live real close to the Detroit border. Suspect already known to the local PD. He was arrested here before and did time. After the PD posting an internet warning, the suspect called the PD and wanted to clear his name. Police picked him up and arrested him for parole violation. Suspect eventually tripped himself up and ended up confessng to our burglary and about 5 more. A single fingerprint of his inside our house plus the confession means he's going away for a long time. The guns were traded for 10 rocks and a $100. The necklace was sold to a pawnbroker and they sold it to someone. The suspect has done time for drug charges and other things. He's 46.
An Asst. US Attorney took notice since he lives somewhere in the same suburb. They want a piece of this guy. The minimum will be 15 years w/o parole and probably more for a habitual offender. The ATF Agent is taking over the case from the local PD and just wants to talk to us. I know you aren't worried. He doesn't get a tour of the house or list of anything other than the stolen guns.

I bet you the ATF guy isn't a terrible anti-American monster and it sounds like you both want the same thing.
