For those that know what I am talking about, Thank You. [:)]
At 9am my time the order will be placed for the ring splints, a COMPLETE set.
The rings will have a jeweled fixture on both middle fingers so they will look cool. At 15 years old if they look like a medical device, I know my little one will fight us over wearing them. She hates to be noticed, wearing her braces bothers her big time. I understand, I hated mine and still do. I have told her not to tell anyone what they are for, not even her friends, that way they are just jewelry.
I know they will stop the over extension, man I hope the change does not cause pain. To be honest(I hope)it will reduce the pain the first day.
I forgot to post a quick pic of her thumb, I will get that and add it to this post. It will give you an idea how messed up her fingers are, remember in the picture her thumb will have no pressure on it. If not for the pain it causes (and icky factor) I would have her show you just how far back they bend. When I say pressure, I mean things like picking up a drink or setting buttons on clothes.
