I miss the good old days...

When criminals actually had some cahones and robbed you at gunpoint. These days they are too afraid to actually face their victims. Instead, they do their criminal acts in the dark and in secret, where they cannot be found. Leave a door unlocked, your stuff gets stolen. Build something in your yard, it gets destroyed. Buy something with a credit card, punk steals your numbers and goes shopping. This time? I open my email and get a nice big virus on my new computer. Almost lost the HD, memory, and monitor on this one, maybe more if my antivirus didn't catch it in time. Course I had to pay $100 to upgrade it first, but it did fix the problem. Then just had to restore it, and it appears to be fine now.

So if you like your computer, do not open an email about an airplane ticket purchase. Looked real, and I wondered why in the world someone would buy me a plane ticket. Course I first thought they sent me someone else's ticket. Turned out both thoughts were wrong. Just some punk kid living in his mom's basement with too many zits and too much free time. Kid probably never had a girlfriend in his life, and it looks like he never will. But kid or no kid I'm tired of people and their cowardly virus emails. Every computer I ever had got ruined by a virus. I ever catch one of them I'm going to give them a piece of my mind. And my foot, and my hand, and likely an elbow or two. Forget the guns, it'll be a knock down drag out fight.

Alright, back to work. Rant over.

I got that same email about a week ago. I knew I had not bought any tickets and no one would be buying me any, so I just deleted it. Lucky me. [:)]

The only reason I had the thought was because my mom mentioned buying a mini vacation for my birthday, and though I said I did not have time to go anywhere, I thought she did anyway. But Toronto was never ever a possible destination, which made me think it was someone else's. I just wanted to make sure my name wasn't on it.

I don't know why people open these things... I get them and I think to myself, do people really fall for such things. And why do they, are the trying to get something that doesn't belong to them.. Then I say to myself I guess the people that opens e-mails that they know that isn't theirs because they didn't order it gets what they deserve... And the hacker that sent them the e-mail in the first place, counts on and laughs at the dishonest greed of the ones that do opens them in hopes that they can make out without paying for something JMO [V]

that's because with our liberal slower than molasses court system criminals are not punished ....just given time out and later free rein to continue ...one bozo convicted of murder got out and killed a college girl in se kansas...how do you justify that to the family...carr bros tortured and killed 4 college kids and damn near killed the fifth...they got a lifetime time out and in a few years are trying to get out on bs lawyer tricks when they should not be breathing ...they should be DEAD...liberal bleeding heart kansas

You cannot get a virus from an e-mail, but don't open attachments.

Computers are great! I just found out through an email that I'm going to be a millionaire soon. Turns out, I have a long lost relative over in England who has recently passed away and left me a huge inheritance. All I have to do is temporarily transfer a couple thousand dollars to the guy handling his estate.....
