Shipping a long gun to FFL

I know this is already in here many times, but I will ask anyway, since I am too lazy to do the search[:D]

If I sell a gun on GB, can I ship it (individual) to the winning bidder's FFL?

Yes you can but find out ahead of time if the buyer's dealer will demand that the rifle be sent to him through another FFL. There is nothing in the regulations that requires this and ten years ago I never heard of any dealers insisting on it, but now it seems pretty common.

Go high on what you think shipping will cost. To insure it and all will be almost $40 easy....if its large or heavy....it will be more.
