Wow. A bid of $10 per box +shipping is not enough.

Never figured 'Bird Shot' would go so high...
But I am certain you are on the hunt for 22LR ammo!
2500rds Federal 22LR Game Shok #12 Lead Shot *Factory Sealed Case*
The product code of 716 means its #12 shot cartridges. Not sure what I would do with that many except go to a rat killing at a chicken house.
Believe it or not but a 500 rd brick of those sold for $89(Midway) last year so 2500 would go for $445 at last years prices.
Anyone ever shoot bumble bees with these? its fun[:D][:D]

For all the great guns you post pictures of I don't recall you posting any pictures of 22's.

IIRC he posted some recently on a thread about centerfire/rimfire pairs.
It was a pretty cool thread. Here it is:

I didn't notice the ammo was shot. Maybe wrong box? Wrong photo? Seems the auction was for regular ball ammo.
Too old to live...too young to die...
Then he adds in that it is #12 shot almost 9 hours later. If someone had placed a bid thinking it was 22LR with an auto bid...they would have been ticked to win that.

Check out the number on the box; 716, that is the federal ammo number for 22 Shot cartridges.

The guy is selling a case of 2500 rds of Federal Game-shok 22Lr "Shot" cartridges filled with #12 shot............Its rat shot and a lot of it[:)]
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
The same thing will happen with Ammo when it will be cheaper to buy from the local Gun Shop or wal-Mart.
Just don't think it is harmless; put the muzzle tight behind a squirrel's ear and it WILL blow its head clean off.
I hate to admit it, Doc, but I paid $10 for a box of .22 birdshot about 2 years ago to shoot vermin in a feed bin. It is anemic as Mr. Perfect attests but I have a smoothbore rifle that does pretty well on small pests out to about 10 feet.

Last time I checked... I couldn't get within thirty five feet of a live squirrel...
And if you're close enough to put it up to a squirrel's head... He's already dead... Waste of a round.
I listed a couple 5000 round cases tonight for someone...we will see what happens???
Looks like CMP stickers on the foil. Does the ammo come packaged in 500 round bulk or 50/box in the big block?
