    mudd pie...or mud pie. one is stacked to the rafters with yummie gramcracker crust chocolate mousse and whipped cream with an Ice cream center...the other is...dirt and water mixed and poured into a pan...both are great but for different reasons

    I once made mud pies under the porch of the house and missed the church bus...ruined a dress[:(]...ya think thats bad? I've been good since then!

    Colt 1911 is having an "off" week...I thought things would do better with Father's Day coming up.

    I think the summer sales season is slow...I try to adjust inventory prior to and usually have good luck with target guns for the outdoor shooters...It will rise again in sept.
    Maybe I should list some O/U shotguns? like clothing retailers market their fall line in june

    Summer is always very slow at the store....but the internet usually does a lot better than it has lately. I haven't had many things come off line without selling until the past few months. I have taken in a few consignment sales for people and they put the price a bit higher than I wanted to list them at....but there have been a couple of my guns that didn't sell that really suprised me.

    The nickle series 70 was one I thought would go higher and it didn't even have questions...the 2" Python went for 600 and I thought that one would be bid higher than that...the Parker didn't sell even though it was under everyone else by $200....I sometimes think I will explode if I don't get a break in the busy season and then the slow time comes and you worry that it could get too slow to pay the bills....I just hate the up and down of it all.

    I wish I had the nerve to do the store I REALLY want to. The store in my mind is something else and I really think it would do well...not because of me, but the whole set up is how I picture things working out better. The gun business is too on one person's shoulders to have a large store to run.
