Spoke to a lawyer friend of mine this morning at breakfast.
He tells me one of his clients has a son with at least 15-20,000 of ammo and approximately 80-90 rifles and handguns and maybe a dozen shotguns.
He further informs that the son, 47 yrs old, is in intensive care after having, suffered a stroke and might NOT make it.
He also informs the mother tried to sell these same guns and ammo 2 yrs ago, when the same son was sick and in the hospital, for $7,500.
What do I pray for?

Similar situation occured in the Manhattan KS area around November. I believe that the man that suffered the stroke lived, but he decided it was time to auction most of the gun collection. (For you Kansas guys, it was the big auction at the Manhattan Holidome, maybe a couple of you were there)
That happened with someone I know. My father went and made offers on some guns that he knew someone had after a death....just trying to help them out and let them know the value of some of the things they had...and he was really shocked to get the response he did.
He had heard about some pretty low-ball offers that had been made and wanted to cut their chances of taking advantage of the situation by making an offer of what they SHOULD sell for.
So many people had contacted that poor person about buying the guns that when my dad made his offer the stuff hit the fan....and BOY was my dad upset only because he really wanted to NOT be lumped in with the rest of them, but felt really bad...almost like he was guilty of something....even though he really was trying to help.
