Sign of the times......no money in circulation...[:(]
Thats gotta be it. That is a nice rifle, in a good caliber, and a good price. I have 4 boxes of .30-06 ammo that I will throw in to the buyer at a great price, if they are a forum member and are interested. I have 2 .308's(that will eventually be passed down) and a .300 WinMag, so I have no need for this, otherwise I would scarf it up. Even with shipping and FFL transfer thats a good price.
Jon
Be happy to get this for that price[:)]
But I think a lot of people are taking a pass on the much respected cartrige of 06.
There aren't many game animals in the world that can't be taken with a 30-06.
But there aren't any on the North American continent that can't be taken with a .308 either.
So all the juice with half the squeeze. (or just as dead without shoulder buises) Or take the same recoil, but carry half the weight in rifle.
Its pretty. But I'm not sure the kids like the chambering anymore.
I really didn't expect it to be shipped for quite awhile as the shipping companies are all messed up right now as well as I figured the seller would have better stuff to do than ship a gun out but I got an email this morning telling me that he got it shipped out but the shipping companies were out of boxes proper to ship the gun out so he took it apart to ship them in the box they did have.
It is nice to see someone go above what is expected of them in difficult conditions to make good on something.
Thanks alot deerhntr![:)]
