    Never got the reason why the stoners have a signifigance to 4/20 and 4:20...anyone know w/o a Google inquiry?

    I thought it was police code for marijuana use in progress.
    Mu daughter said it is because 4:00 is the time when after-school detention gets out, thus 4:20 is when the stoners flame up.

    In the movie "Pulp Fiction," all of the clocks are set at 4:20.

    Whoda thunk Tarantino was hitting the gange?[:D]

    be careful if you smoke that stuff, the nazis want any excuse they can find to make you a felon and legally disarm you.

    im pretty sure any ammount of marijuana mixed with the posession of a firearm is a major felony while jethro can open fire on chickens while piss drunk legally. strange laws..

    420 is not a police code for marijuana anywhere.

    Your daughter is right. In 1971 students at San Rafael High School would meet at a statue of Louis Pasteur and light up.

    The true origin of 4:20 was started in the 60's, in the Hait Ashbury section of San Fran. The clock on the town hall was stuck at 4:20. So all the hippies deemed 4:20 as time to LIGHT UP!
    That's what i was told, years ago.
    But, i could be wrong..
