Does anyone here own a Remington-Keene Rifle?

If any of our members own a Remington-Keene rifle, I'd appreciate some information that has to do with cocking it for firing. I am preparing an auction to sell my Deluxe Remington-Keene. My rifle comes to a full cock upon closing the bolt, and The American Rifleman Magazine reference that I have states that the 1880 model comes to a half cock on closing the bolt, which requires that the cocking lever (hammer) be cocked by the thumb to ready it for firing. Any help here would be greatly appreciated, and I might have to post in ATE if none of the members have one.
What's next?
